JANE SNOW

After graduating from the University of Tennessee, Jane became a stage carpenter and 

technical director.  She worked as a scenic artist in New York City at various non-union and

union shops such as Bruce and Bruce,  Playwrights Horizons, Showman Fabricators, 

Half-Moon, East Coast Theatrical, and Noland Scenic.   Jane was Charge Painter at Variety 

Scenic Studios from 1992 - 1996 and at Hudson Scenic Studios from 1996 - 2001.  She now 

works for Joseph Forbes at Scenic Art Studios as a Charge Artist and Lead Drop Painter and

at the Metropolitain Opera as a scenic artist.


Jane has charged projects for Broadway, Off-Broadway, dance, television, and commercials.

Cafe Crown, Three Penny Opera, The Goodbye Girl, Beauty and The Beast, Grease, Damn 

Yankees, The Heiress, A Delicate Balance, Big, Victor/Victoria, Les Miserables, Ragtime, 

Chicago, The Capeman, The Diary of Anne Frank, Art, The Music Man, Proof, Kiss Me Kate, 

The Full Monty, Twelfth Night, The Lion King.


In 1999 Jane received the Entertainment Design Award ("Eddy") for collaboration in theater.
